Food Baskets - Gift of Nourishment and Love

What is the Food Care Basket Program?

This is a drive to raise funds for providing food to children when they are proceeding for the holiday breaks.

Over Easter and Christmas, the children have an opportunity to get a food basket that they share with their families and neighbors that equally need while at home. A basket comprises of wheat and corn flour, sugar and rice, soap and salt and at times a bottle of juice that the children love so much.

This drive gives us an opportunity to share food with the sick, the elderly and vulnerable members of the community.

Do you know that with $15 donation, an average family of 4 will have food over the school break?

The Impact of Food care baskets

Families come together to celebrate the joy of Easter and Christmas and reflect as they focus on the relevance of this important days.

We reach out to many families and groups beyond our children in the schools. Children resume learning while in good health and not suffer hunger or malnutrition which takes them back academically.

We conduct outreach and minister Christ to different communities in Kenya.
