Curriculum
Our curriculum is based on the Kenyan Education System, that is the 8-4-4 system of education and have been adopting elements of the new system of education 2:6:3:3. Our curriculum covers all the core subjects, including, English, Mathematics, Kiswahili, Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Business Studies, Agriculture Studies, History and Government Studies, Computer Studies and Christian Religious Education. We also provide class sizes and teacher pupil ratio that ensures that each student receives the attention and support they need.
Teaching Philosophy
Our highly qualified and experienced teachers use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. We believe in imparting knowledge and skills to our students while motivating them to exhibit good behavior and academic effort.

Performance
At Kinyago Dandora Secondary School, we are proud of our academic achievements. Over the years, we have consistently been the top-performing school in Njiru Sub-County, having achieved this distinction 10 times out of the past 13 annual National Exams. Our students have gone to enroll in prestigious universities and colleges both in the country and abroad, with many Pursuing advanced degrees in various fields. Our Alumni include accomplished professionals in diverse fields, including engineering, law, medicine and more.
School Library
The Kinyago Dandora Secondary School Library is a valuable resource for students and teachers alike. It is an expansive repository of knowledge, with a variety of materials that support teaching and learning. With its peaceful and serene environment, the library provides an ideal space for study and research.
The library can accommodate up to 60 students at any given time and is equipped with ample furniture, including chairs, bookshelves and reading desks which provide students with a comfortable learning environment. The library has a diverse collection of coursebooks, magazines, novels and reference materials, which are constantly updated to keep up with the current educational trends.
Many students have credited their academic success to the resources and atmosphere provided by the library. It has become a haven for many whose home environments is not conducive to studying, offering them a space to access materials that they might not have otherwise been able to. The library is a vital component of Kinyago Dandora Secondary School’s academic ecosystem, fostering a culture of learning, inquiry and academic excellence.
Science Laboratory
At Kinyago Dandora Secondary School, we recognize the importance of science and technology in shaping the future. Therefore, we have invested in two modern science laboratories that are spacious and well equipped with the latest apparatus and equipment. It is staffed by experienced Laboratory Technician and science teachers who guide students in conducting experiments and exploring scientific concepts. We also have safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits to ensure that students can conduct experiments safely.
Our science Laboratories play a crucial role in both theoretical and practical learning, serving as a foundation for our students’ academic success. With our modern science laboratories, we are committed to providing our students with the best possible learning experience, preparing them for a successful future in science and technology.

Computer Laboratory
Kinyago Dandora Secondary School is proud to offer a modern Computer Laboratory to our students. Our Computer Lab is equipped with modern computers and other necessary accessories and is designed to provide a conducive learning environment. We understand the importance of technology in our daily lives and computer classes equip our learners with a solid understanding of the technological culture.
Our Computer Lab is staffed with a qualified computer teacher who is passionate about imparting computer knowledge to our students. Through these classes, learners are equipped with a wide range of computer skills, including but not limited to typing, using various software applications and internet research. We believe that our Computer Lab is an essential resource that plays a critical role in preparing our students for the ever-evolving digital world.
