The Guidance and Counselling Department of Kinyago Dandora Secondary School is an integral part of the school’s system aimed at enhancing students’ behaviour, social life, mental health and academic performance. The department works collaboratively with the Christian Union to provide students with Christian teachings, values and morals. The school Chaplain conducts oneon-one counselling sessions which have proven to be highly effective in transforming students’ attitudes and behaviour. Additionally, group counselling is conducted by trained counsellors who 10 facilitate interactive sessions where students can seek and receive answers to their pressing concerns. The department plays a crucial role in the school’s success by promoting a positive learning environment.
