The Great Commission

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ~ Matthew 28:19-20

We nurture students through character trait focus, and classroom discussions, seeking the Lord’s guidance through prayer and devotion. The faculty also seeks guidance through prayer and devotion in each classroom, encouraging pastors to lead their congregants in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” ~ Colossians 3:20
Pastors and leaders are equipped with a strong biblical foundation, enabling them to have strong convictions of service to our schools, communities, and country. They are trained to speak and perform effectively in both small and large group settings. Moreover, they develop strong character qualities that are nurtured throughout their learning journey. These qualities include integrity, reflecting their commitment to glorify God in all things through Christ Jesus.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” ~ 2 Timothy 2:15

Faculty - The people making a difference at MALI

Reverend Jeremiah Ombasa

I hold a Diploma in Theology from Harvest Fields Bible College and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Global University (ICI). As a proud lecturer at MALI (Mishkan African Leadership Institute), I strongly believe that MALI has been a rescue for pastors who did not have the financial means to enroll in a university or college. In my role as a lecturer, my goal is to inspire and challenge students to think critically, engage in meaningful discussions, and apply what they learn to real-world situations. I am dedicated to providing a holistic education that integrates theological teachings with practical ministry principles. One of the distinctive aspects of MALI is our commitment to cultivating qualities of integrity, humility, and servant leadership in our students. We aim to prepare them to make a positive difference in their churches, communities, and the world. I firmly believe in God as the creator of heaven and Earth and in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. I also embrace the belief in the Holy Spirit, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, and the resurrection

Reverend Patrick Njau

I serve as the Lead Pastor of Ebenezer Church, where I have been a servant leader to church members and surrounding communities for over ten years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology with a concentration in biblical studies from Pan Africa Christian University. As a faculty member at Mishkan African Leadership Institute, I consider it a great honor to be part of an institution that is fully committed to equipping and empowering pastors and leaders for impactful ministry. My deep passion lies in teaching and mentoring, and I am dedicated to guiding students on their journey of personal and spiritual growth. At MALI, we firmly believe in the transformative power of education rooted in biblical principles. Our institute provides a nurturing and supportive environment where students can cultivate a strong biblical foundation, enhance their leadership skills, and deepen their knowledge of God’s Word. I take immense pride in being associated with MALI, an institution that upholds a steadfast dedication to excellence in education, spiritual growth, and the transformation of lives. Together, we are shaping the future of pastoral leadership and making a lasting impact on our churches, communities, and the world.
