The official home of the Kinyago Alumni Association.
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16
From the very beginning graduates of Kinyago Dandora Schools have always been happy to visit the schools and mentor the young ones, assist teachers and even assist in different departments in the school. This was done on individual and group basis. Sometime in 2010, the C.E.O then, Ginger Palm while on a visit to the schools met about 13 Alumni and expressed her joy with how the former students were engaging the schools. She asked that they continue with the same spirit. It is at this meeting that the idea of formalizing the activities of the Alumni as a group was shared by Ginger.
The Alumni continued engaging their Alma Mater and the membership grew. On April 3rd 2013, we were able to register ourselves with the government at the Registrar of Societies, with the name Kinyago Alumni Association (KAA) – another milestone in the journey. The Alumni body continued to grow and stay active.
Kinyago Alumni Association is self – governed and members elect the office bearers. Kinyago Alumni Association (KAA) is opened to all the graduates from the Kinyago Dandora Schools who are part of the ministry of Kenya Children’s Fund (KCF).
All the members of the association have benefitted from the sponsorship program – many of our Alumni had the opportunity to start the program as nursery students while others were enrolled as High School freshmen at the secondary school.
Fast forward to today and Kinyago Alumni Association thrives and boast of more than 1000 Alumni that are qualified to be members who are making an impact around the world. We share a common goal of wanting to give back to our community as we were given through the Kinyago Dandora Schools and Kenya Children’s Fund Program. We continue to work diligently to empower members academically, economically and spiritually. The ideals nurtured are to be utilized for the good of the general society and Kinyago Dandora Schools specifically.
